To Worth Rises,
I was shown your info that a fellow inmate had received from you and myself along with several other offenders are very interested in joining in your cause to end prison slavery.
Sadly though, here at C.D.O.C in any of its facilities, we are forced to work for literally pennies a day, or face the penalties for refusal to work which include being stripped of all privileges like canteen, yard, out TVs/radio-etc.
So, unless we want to be punished, or even written up sometimes to the point of going to segregation we must comply with the old and outdated draconian ways of forced slave labor. In other words, I am asking you to send me any info you can on not only your organization-including the questionnaire but also any other advocates involved in ending slave labor in the criminal mass incarceration machine.
Please send several questionnaires as I have many fellow “P.O.W.s”-so to speak- that would love to be heard, included, and involved.
Also, if you could place me on your mailing list so we can keep informed on any updates, break-throughs, or other news.
Lee S.
