Hello Maddy and friends
My name is Andre J. im currently in Arkansas Department of correction with a 25 year sentence under the “y” for 1st degree murder.
1) Well the work I am assigned to is field utility (Hoe Squad) and i can't stand it. The riders talk to us like we’re less than human and we do free labor while ADC gets paid for, the fruits, vegetables, etc.
2) I want them to know they don’t respect you and treat us inhumane! They cuss us out, never think you’re telling the truth about being sick, etc.
3) I feel its not fair for our punishment of our crimes to include free labor. We’re already away from our love ones, and our freedom has been taken away.
4) Yes I would like to be apart of the movement you all are putin together. I’m good with writing and poems. I just want to be a vessel to yall project if I can /// I would take it serious, just like yall do!
5) No we don't listen to a prison radio shows here… I didn’t know they had any, I would like to know some of the stations, please include some when you write me back if you can.
